Terms of Service

Introduction :

ShopLocal Business is a digital marketplace platform operated by Framz Limited. We provide technology that allows customers to discover and order products from local sellers, and allows sellers to list products, receive orders, and manage fulfilment.

These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and mobile applications. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our role and platform nature :

• ShopLocal Business acts as a marketplace and intermediary only.
• Any contract for the sale of products is formed directly between the customer and the seller.
• Framz Limited does not manufacture, store, package, or deliver products.

Eligibility and accounts :

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order. By using the platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Sellers and listings :

Sellers may be individuals or businesses. All sellers are manually reviewed before being approved to list products. Approved sellers must comply with our Seller Agreement.

• Sellers are solely responsible for product descriptions, pricing, availability, quality, and compliance with law.
• Stock levels are managed by sellers. If an item is out of stock, the seller must reject the order.

Restricted and prohibited products :

The platform does not permit the sale of non-halal, illegal, or otherwise restricted products. Sellers must flag products that may require review. We reserve the right to remove any listing at our discretion.

Orders and payment authorisation :

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. When an order is placed, your payment method may be authorised first.

Payment is captured only after the seller accepts the order. If the seller rejects the order or does not respond within the acceptance window, the authorisation will be cancelled.

Fees and charges :

• Sellers pay a 20% commission on the product price.
• Customers pay a fixed £0.50 service fee per order.
• Delivery fees are set by sellers and passed to them in full.

Delivery and collection :

Delivery is handled by sellers or their staff. ShopLocal Business does not provide delivery services and does not accept responsibility for delivery performance.

Cancellations and refunds :

Customers may cancel an order only before the seller accepts it. If an order is rejected due to availability, a refund is initiated automatically.

Refunds are processed by ShopLocal Business after reviewing the issue and, where appropriate, consulting the seller.

Reviews and user content :

Reviews must be honest, lawful, and respectful. We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews that breach these Terms. Reviews reflect the author's opinion only.

Limitation of liability :

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Framz Limited is not liable for seller actions, product quality, availability, or delivery issues. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Platform availability :

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Suspension and termination :

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if these Terms are breached or if there is a risk to the platform or its users.

Governing law :

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
