Information about deleting your ShopLocal Business account and data

ShopLocal Business Seller

This section is for ShopLocal Business Seller accounts operated by Framz Limited.

What Gets Deleted:

  • Your seller account and login credentials
  • Business profile information
  • Product listings and inventory data
  • Personal information not required for legal or accounting purposes

What May Be Retained:

  • Transaction history and order records (required for legal, tax, and accounting compliance)
  • Financial records and invoices (retained as required by UK law)
  • Data required for dispute resolution or ongoing legal matters
  • Anonymized data for analytics and service improvement

How to Delete Your Account (In-App):

  1. Login to the ShopLocal Business Seller App
  2. Click on the menu icon in the top left corner
  3. Click on the "Settings" menu item
  4. Select "Delete Account"
  5. A popup will appear asking "Are you sure you want to Delete?"
  6. Click "Yes" to confirm deletion, or "No" to cancel

Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you prefer, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

  • Send an email to contact@shoplocalbusiness.co.uk
  • Send from the email address or phone number associated with your account
  • Include your business name and request for account deletion
  • We will process your request within 30 days

ShopLocal Business Customer

This section is for ShopLocal Business Customer accounts operated by Framz Limited.

What Gets Deleted:

  • Your customer account and login credentials
  • Profile information and preferences
  • Saved addresses and payment methods
  • Wishlists and shopping cart data
  • Personal information not required for legal or accounting purposes

What May Be Retained:

  • Order history and transaction records (required for legal and accounting compliance)
  • Purchase records and invoices (retained as required by UK law)
  • Data required for warranty claims or dispute resolution
  • Anonymized data for analytics and service improvement

How to Delete Your Account (In-App):

  1. Login to the ShopLocal Business Customer App
  2. Click on the "Account" option in the center bottom of the dashboard
  3. Choose "Delete your account"
  4. A popup will appear asking "Delete app data?"
  5. Click "DELETE" to confirm deletion, or "CANCEL" to keep your account

Alternative: Request Deletion via Email

If you prefer, you can request account deletion by emailing us:

  • Send an email to contact@shoplocalbusiness.co.uk
  • Send from the email address or phone number associated with your account
  • Include your name and request for account deletion
  • We will process your request within 30 days

Important Information:

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Some data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or accounting purposes as outlined above
  • Sellers: Please ensure all pending orders are fulfilled before deleting your account
  • Customers: Any pending orders or active warranties may affect data retention
